The covers are sewn in the envelope style. There are no buttons, zippers, or snaps. Back side can be plaid or solid color (flannel cotton).

The smaller 12 x 16 pillow can be ordered in a solid color made out of soft cuddly flannel. Perfect for resting your head on a nice summer day.
Remember when inserting the pillow into the cover, get the corners of the pillows into the corners of the cover as much as possible. Then shake it up a bit until it fits snuggly/evenly all around. Also make sure the inside flap is lying straight.
